How To: QuickBooks Subaccount mapping

When linking accounts between MISys and QuickBooks, the MISys Account Description must be identical to the QuickBooks Account Name. 

If you are linking a MISys Account to a Subaccount in QuickBooks, the Description field for that Account in MISys needs to be in the following format: 

PARENTACCOUNT:SUBACCOUNT (no spaces)

For example if the Name of a Parent Account in QuickBooks was Mfg Inventory Asset and the Subaccount Name in QB was Laundry the MISys Account Description would need to be:

Mfg Inventory Asset:Laundry
