Messsage: Error Patching. Requested Registry access is not allowed.

Solution

You may see this message if you are attempting to apply an update to your MISys Manufacturing software (generally from a workstation running the MISys Client). 

The error indicates that you are not running the MISys Client with sufficient permissions to apply the update properly. 

Troubleshooting: 

Launch your MISys Client using Run as Administrator: 

  1. Right-click on your MISys Client icon. 
  2. Select Run as Administrator. 
  3. Follow the prompts to update your MISys programs. 

 If you continue to have problems applying the update, please contact MISys Technical Support.
