Please verify that Sage 50 US is not waiting for user input or login. For Tech Support: Sage 50 US error: The parameter is incorrect. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070057 (E_INVALIDARG))

This error message could indicate that the path being referenced in MISys under Company Options | Accounting tab is different than the path being used by your Sage 50 US application.

Verify the path being used by Sage 50 when you log into your accounting database. You need to ensure that the same naming nomenclature that is being used by Sage 50 is also being used to point to the accounting data under MISys | Company Options | Accounting Tab.

If they are different, the system can interpret this as a different or incorrect company and can result in this type of message.

If the error continues, log into both MISys and Sage 50 as the ADMIN user (in both systems). Then go into MISys | Accounting | Period End and click Check Missing Accounts.

If the error no longer appears, it indicates that the previous User you were logged into Sage 50 US with doesn't have the required Roles/Permissions.

You can view the required Roles for integrating with Sage 50 US by hitting F1 from any form in MISys (to bring up the MISys Manufacturing Help) and on the Contents tab select Integration Guides | Sage 50 US Accounting | Required Sage 50 Accounting User Security.
